Supply List

Kinder Supply Wish List 2018/2019

We have put together our “wish list” of supplies that we feel is necessary to support and enrich your child’s Kindergarten experience.   Please remember that we use community baskets where supplies are put together and shared by all.  We feel that doing this helps model and develop our sense of classroom community.  Please do not put individual names on supplies (except for the items in bold).  The list of supplies should meet our needs throughout the school year so that you can take advantage of the super back to school bargains now.  Please keep in mind that this is our “wish list” and not a requirement.  However, it does enhance and enrich your child’s opportunities and experiences.  Please send the items in bold WITH your child’s name on them.

1 ½ inch to 1 inch three-ring binder

1 backpack (large enough for a folder to fit in, no wheels please)

2 large bottles of hand sanitizer

3 boxes 24 (or more) count Crayola crayons

10 glue sticks

1 package colored pencils

10 plain yellow pencils

1 rectangular pink eraser

4 black dry erase markers (skinny size preferred)

3 large boxes of Kleenex

1 box of sanitizing wet wipes (for messy faces/hands and desktops)

1 pair of headphones

1 water bottle – please send a water bottle with your child each day (no juice or soda please).  Clearly label your child’s water bottle.  Insulated bottles work better as they do not perspire on the tables.  Please send only water bottles with the pop-up tops.  Water bottles with screw on caps spill easily.

* You may want to buy some duplicates to keep at home for completing homework projects.  A pencil and crayons may be needed at home.

We will also be in need of snacks for the first few weeks of school (before we begin our “Special Day” snack schedule).  If you are able to provide a healthy snack (for 24 students) for our cupboard, we would be very appreciative.  J
