Ms. Grissett

Ms. Grissett - 1st Grade

Hi! My Name is Ms. Minda Grissett! I will be your child’s 1st grade teacher
for the 2018-2019 school year! This will be my 1st year teaching at Wildflower Elementary and I am excited to make this the best year! Go Wildcats!

A little about me:

I was born and raised in the Lone Star State of Texas and have called Arizona my home for the last 8 years. I am a proud mother of 4 children. I have a son in college, another son in first grade, and boy/girl twins in preschool. We enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring new adventures!

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. Go Lopes! Through this journey I have discovered the field of education to be one of my heart’s greatest joys and a lifelong passion. I believe in integration, teaching with a real-world purpose, cultural influences, and active discovery in my classroom. As a teacher, I also believe that all students can learn through nurturing the things for which my students show interest and passion in.
